History of Turkish Association for Infant Mental Health
The Turkish Association of Infant Mental Health was founded in 2005 by Prof. Dr. Neşe Erol and associates (Prof. Dr. Runa Uslu, Prof. Dr. Efser Kerimoğlu, Prof. Dr. Melda Akçakın, Assoc. Prof. Gülsen Erden, Clinical Psychologist Başak Alpas, Clinical Psychologist Füsun Kurdoğlu, Dr. Didem Öztop, Assoc. Prof Sibel B. Kazak) with the purpose of advancing research, education and practice in infant mental health.
The association became affiliated with the World Association for Infant Mental Health in 2009.
